Love them or hate them, there can be no doubt in anyone’s mind that the Kardashians keep things interesting with their outlandish and most of the time absurd behaviour. But just which of the storylines in their hugely popular reality series are the most ridiculous and/or hard to believe? Luckily you have us to tell you…
1. Kendall and Kylie pole dancing, Season 1
If you want to create a controversial reality show, it pays to get things started with a bang and this was very much the case when, in series 1 episode 1, Kim Kardashian buys a pole that her two younger sisters Kendall (then aged 12) and Kylie (10) proceed to play on like it’s no big deal.

2. The Kim handbag Bentley meltdown, Season 2
If Kim K ever had any worries about people thinking she was a diva then she made sure everyone was aware of it in season 2 when she lashed out at her sisters for not being supportive enough when she purchased her first Bentley.

3. When Khloe got arrested, Season 3
One of the earlier absurd Kardashian moments, in the car on the way to drop Khloe Kardashian to serve a prison sentence Kris Jenner’s words say it all: “Kim would you stop taking pictures of yourself? Your sister’s going to jail”.

4. When Kris accidentally drugged Rob, Season 4
Now this one really is too much… Back in season 4 Kris Jenner accidentally drugs her son Rob with Viagra which is originally intended for her husband Bruce Jenner. They must have been running very low on plotlines to sink this low, if you ask me.

5. When Kris won’t let Bruce have an ATM card, Season 4
Yes, we are really supposed to believe in season 4 that Bruce is kept under such a tight leash by Kris that she doesn’t even allow him an ATM card. Ridiculous or what?

6. When Kim loses her diamond earring, Season 6
If ever there was an example of ‘champagne problems’ being played out before our very eyes it is when Kim loses a $75,000 earring in the ocean on holiday in Bora Bora with her family and then boyfriend Kris Humphries. The silver lining though is that we get to see that she has an ugly cry face just like the rest of us.

7. Scott becomes a Lord, Season 7
Whether or not this is a ‘real thing’ we still don’t know, but what we do know is that in 2012 Scott Disick apparently took part in a traditional knighting ceremony in London from which he apparently became a Lord.

8. Kris’s swollen lip, Season 7
On the family holiday in the Dominican Republic in season 7, Kris Jenner experienced a rather unfortunate swollen lip that was suspected to be caused by an inset bite. Whether it was actually that, we’ll never know but something tells me she couldn’t fake this.

9. Kourtney and Scott’s tape, Season 8
Pretty much one of the most disturbing Kardashian moments ever, in season 8 Kris reveals that her and Bruce may or may not have made a ‘tape’ together. Her daughter Kourtney then suggests it might be funny to recreate the tape as a joke with her boyfriend Scott, which quite frankly seems wrong on so many levels.

10. Brody walking in on Kim naked, Season 9
In a rather awkward encounter, Kim Kardashian’s step brother Brody Jenner walks in on her when she’s is taking some rather… erm… rude pictures for her then fiancé Kanye West. This was after he admitted he used to have a crush on her before they were related. Cringe.
